Picture, music and general knowledge come as standard. Pick Linkage or Under the Radar, then two more, and you can change them every time you order. Want a longer night? Extra rounds are £1 each.

The Challenge

A night that flows.

You can run the rounds in any order you like. This is the shape we use ourselves, and it works.

      Open the file

      Save it to the laptop and double click it. It opens in the web browser you've already got, so there's nothing to install.

      Press F

      Plug the laptop into the telly with an HDMI lead, same as you would for the racing. Press F once and it stays full screen all night.

      Press space

      Every press reveals an answer or moves on. Want to walk the room? A clicker does the same job as the space bar.

      Try it at home

      Two minutes the night before. Open it, press F, click through a few slides. If it works at home, it works in the pub.

    Any presentation clicker works. This one's about £9 on Amazon: plug the little dongle into the laptop and that's it.

    If you're the one with the microphone, the quiz can carry your name as well as the pub's.

    Before you order

    Do I need to be good with computers?

    No. If you can get YouTube up on the pub telly, you can run this. Open one file, press the space bar.

    What kit do I need?

    A laptop, an HDMI lead into the telly, and speakers that reach the back of the room for the music round. You'll also print the picture sheets, one per team, on any printer. A clicker's a nice extra, but the space bar does the same job.

    Will the pub down the road have the same quiz?

    Not from us. No two venues within 100 miles get the same questions. We keep a record of every quiz and where it was played, and check it before we build yours.

    What if one of your answers is wrong?

    Tell us and we'll fix it for next time. On the night, do what every quizmaster does: throw the question out for everyone and move on.

    I'm the quizmaster, not the landlord. Can I order?

    Yes. Order one per pub, each in that pub's colours, with your name on the opening slide if you want it.

    Can I change my colours or logo later?

    Any time. Change them when you order your next quiz and it arrives in the new look.

    Am I tied in?

    No. There's no subscription and nothing to cancel. You pay £10 when you order a quiz, plus £1 for each extra round if you add any, and that's it.

    Can we have more rounds?

    Yes. Six rounds, the challenge and a break make a full two hour night. Add up to three more at £1 each when you pick your rounds.

    How do I order the next one?

    Come back to this page on the same phone or laptop and everything from last time is filled in. Pick a date, check your rounds and order.
